Ballroom/Suite #7

The Signer's Ballroom will accommodate up to 20 people. The Signer's Ballroom and suite #7 combined will accommodate up to 40 people standing or sitting. Rental fee for the Signer's Ballroom is $650.00 plus tax. The rate for suite #7 ranges from $355.00 to $405.00 per night. Available event times: Noon to 6:00 PM only.

Courtyard

Our courtyard will accommodate up to 100 people standing. The rental fee for this space is $450.00 plus tax. There is no back up in case of inclement weather. Available times: noon to 6:00 PM only. Any tenting will be the sole responsibility of the guest.

A minimum number of sleeping room reservations are required in addition to reserving either of the above spaces. Romance Packages available. Restrictions apply to the following: music, rental equipment, event time, and food & beverage.

Circa 1886, nestled in the gardens of the Wentworth Mansion, serves Southern cuisine with a sophisticated twist. Circa 1886 is a beautiful way to begin or end your wedding celebrations.
We offer two private and intimate dining rooms that will accommodate parties from 10 to 38 people. Banquet menus are available for luncheons as well as rehearsal dinners and receptions.  Custom wedding cakes are created by Pastry Chef Scott Lovorn. Charleston Weddingmoon Package- 3 Nights-$2550

Retreat to Charleston for a romantic wedding getaway.  Let Charming Inns take care of all of the details for your wedding, from the location to the flowers!  Your romantic weddingmoon package includes 3 nights in a suite including continental breakfast, daily newspaper, port, brandy and sherry in the ballroom, afternoon tea in the ballroom, wireless internet access and the following itinerary which is interchangeable:

Arrival night may not be Friday or Saturday due to 24 hour waiting period for marriage license.

Day 1/Night 2:

Meet with Wedding Coordinator and Go to City of Charleston to get Marriage Certificate (24 hours before license can be picked up)

One Hour in room couples massage

Day 2/Night 3:

The Wedding Day

The Wedding-moon Package includes the officiant, photographer, bridal bouquet, boutonnière, a bottle of champagne and a small wedding cake. A Private Carriage Ride after the ceremony as well as a romantic dinner for two at Circa 1886 with return to the hotel by rickshaw.

Day 2/Night 3:
Middleton Place- Guests to Middleton Place can experience 65 acres of formal landscaped gardens and explore the working Plantation Stable yards where costumed interpreters demonstrate the skills once performed by slaves. As part of the general admission, visitors can participate in an African American Focus Tour, Nature Walk and Garden Overview Tour. Also included is a 45-minute horse-drawn carriage ride through a bamboo forest and woodlands to an abandoned rice field where Carolina Gold once flourished.
